Hi, everyone, I’m Kate.
I write about sustainability and parenting for Cracked & Golden.
I hope to shine a light on the alternatives to our current oil-based economies, offering solutions, suggestions and new points of view as we go, on how to make our planet healthier, our oceans cleaner, for our future generations—and, in particular, for my kids.
And that’s my agenda: to tell these stories about climate change, parenting, sustainability, and who’s doing it right, so that we are moved to make different choices—the tougher choices. My hope is that these pieces will help improve our odds against global warming.
I am a mom of two ocean-loving boys, a writer by trade and the founder of Rogue Wave.
And I’m writing because I believe with every piece of me that we still can make significant shifts in our lifestyles and mindsets–in everything—but particularly when it comes to the climate work yet to be done.
